Yogāsana
Vinyasa-Krāma with Egle
Description
A strong dynamic sequence based on Krishnamacharya's teachings and influenced by Ashtanga Mysore, Jivamukti and B.K.S. Iyengar approaches. While this sort of vinyāsa might seem challenging at first, it develops awareness, strength and stamina. A student feels rebalanced, rejuvenated and connected to their inner self. Therefore, the class is both physical and spiritual practice. The sequence starts with Surya Namaskar A & B for the warm up and flows into triangles, balancing, forward & back bends and inversion series. Although the principle of the sequence remains in each class, the postures might differ slightly each time. The class includes a short meditation, āsana, prānāyāma, mudrā & bandha, and a long savasana at the end. It is important to note that although the class is led, every student develops their practice at their own pace (vinyasa krāma), therefore modifications and options could be provided. *** IMPORTANT: Classes are best for intermediate and advanced students, although beginners as well as anyone with a sense of adventure are welcome! Please do not eat at least 2 hours prior to the class and hydrate before, as we aim not to drink water during the class. Classes may include hands-on assists, the use of natural essential oils, balms or creams (applied optionally by the teacher), live or recorded music, instruments (such as harmonium, shruti box, bells), incense, and candles. If you have any allergies, sensitivities, personal boundaries, or are pregnant (or planning to be), please inform the teacher before class. Some practices may not be suitable during pregnancy. Your comfort, safety, and consent are always honoured.
