Sound Medicine; with Simona Apsara & Aldo

Sound medicine – is a powerful healing modality that taps into the ancient wisdom of sound and music, balancing the five elements within us.

The main aspect of our sound medicine immersions is an ancient healing approach trough indian classical music system with singing, tampura and bansuri flute combined with traditional gong, singing bowls, shamanic drums, chimes and more.

During the session specific melodic modes (ragas) are chosen according to the atmosphere, making each sound medicine a unique transformative experience.

Ragas are musical modes with specific characteristics, constituting an extremely sophisticated and functional system that demands expertise, sensitivity, and precision in its expression. Each raga carries a profound emotional and spiritual impact that influences physical well-being, thereby inducing the listener into a deep meditative state. In this manner, this immersivejourney creates a space for profound healing, rejuvenation and inspiration.

About Simona & Aldo:

Simona Apsara a renowned singer and musician with training in jazz, classical music, Gregorian chant, Indian classical music, sound therapy and other sacred singing traditions. She underwent rigorous training in Dhrupad, one of the most ancient singing traditions of India, which she is now teaching alongside Sanskrit and Vedic studies.

Aldo is a musician trained in Indian classical music, specialized in bansuri flute and surbahar.

For more than a decade they were conducing Sound Medicine events.
